Universal Medical College has been established in 2013 with an intention to produce medical graduates, capable to provide quality health care service to the people of Bangladesh. It is a non-profitable organization.
A beautifully arranged campus with well equipped Hospital & Laboratories and fully air conditioned class rooms, modern teaching facilities and adequate treatment facilities for indoor and outdoor patients.The College building is accommodated in 8 storied building and the attached Hospital is accommodated in 6 storied building with arrangements for 350 inpatients.
Universal Medical College Hospital (former Ayesha Memorial Hospital) is a general & referral hospital dedicated to provide multidisciplinary medical care & backed by state-of-the-art facilities.
The college library is a well furnish specious hall with cool & silent atmosphere. It is fairly enriched with a collection of recent textbooks, reference books & national & international medical journals in various subjects. Computer along with internet facilities in friendly, open stack & easy access system are in place. It is maintained by qualified & trained librarian. It remains open from 8.00am-8.00pm in working days. The library is provided with separate learning space for students & teachers as well.The Medical Education Unit (MEU) is attached to the library. MEU is enriched with computer, internet facilities & recent journals.
